Erin Scroggins said when he looks at the Gilbert Town Council, he doesn't see anyone like him.

That's why the 36-year-old father of five decided to run for one of two open seats.

Scroggins: Safety, fiscal prudence are priorities

My wife and I moved to Gilbert over nine years ago. At the time, we had two children with one on the way and could have chosen a number of other communities.
